7March2023 - Amendment 00001 Site Visit and Questions and Answers.
The Regional Training Institute (RTI) and South Dakota Army National Guard (SDARNG) has a requirement to support scheduled training with three meals daily. This requirement is achieved through contractor prepared and served meals at the Dining Facility on Fort Meade, SD 57741. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to peform Officer Candidate School (OCS) Meal Services.
The period of performance shall be one Base Year with two potential option periods. Presently it is anticipated that the schedule will require quotes for each of the following catagories: Breakfast Meal, Lunch Meal, Dinner Meal, and Sack Lunch. The meals will be required during the approximate time frame of June 3-July 28, 2023, with two potential Option Periods.
An on-site visit, at Fort Meade will be conducted at 10:00 AM (MT) on 01 March 2023. During the site visit potential Contractors can see the dining facility and ask questions about the requirements of this Request for Quotes (RFQ). It is recommended that all interested parties participate in the site visit. The site visit minutes will be posted by amendment to the solicitation. Contact Shelly Thomson at Shelly.j.thomson.civ@army.mil if you will be attending the on-site visit. Other than at the site visit all questions will be submitted in writing. The deadline for questions is 3 March 2023, 12:00 PM MT.
Potential contractor must complete the System for Award Management (SAM) process prior to award of contract.
This solicitation will be a Total Small Business Set Aside resulting in a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The vendor who is awarded the contract will be required to attend a pre-performance meeting scheduled approximately for May 31, 2023 at Camp Rapid, SD.
