Description

The Great Plains Area Office, Aberdeen, South Dakota, intends to award a sole-source award to Joint Commission for Hospital Accreditation Program Annual & Onsite Fees, Laboratory Accreditation Program Annual & Onsite Fees, Life Safety Code Specialist, and For Cause Survey’s for the Pine Ridge IHS Service Unit, Pine Ridge, South Dakota.



The Joint Commission is the only accreditation entity deemed by CMS for the accreditation of certain types of health care facilities there is no other entity who is deemed to perform this service.





The resultant contract award Period of Performance shall be Date of Award through One Year.

The Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition (Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1: Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1)) was approved on 2/23/2023.
