The Great Plains Area Indian Health Service hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source, firm fixed price, base plus four option year contract for a commercially available, off the shelf (COTS), for S&MA for Washers/Disinfectors, Sterilizers, Endscope Disinfectors, Storage/Drying/Warming Cabinets, Surgical LIghts and Surgical Tables for Healthcare Facilities throughout the Great Plains Area in North and South Dakota.
Period of Performance for the Base plus Four Option Year Contract is:
Base: January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023
OY #1: January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024
OY #2: January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025
OY #3: January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026
OY #4: January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2027
The estimated value is above the simplified acquisition threshold.
The sole source contracting action is pursuing a waiver from placing an order on a competitive basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supply or service will satisfy agency requirements and is based on market research.
Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be
advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission
objective of agency in providing optimal health care.
The determination not to complete the proposed action is solely within the discretion of the Government.
Information received normally will be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred for responding to this notice.
