The 28th Contracting Squadron, Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota, has issued this Solicitation, FA469023Q0026, to compete and award a single award Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract using FAR Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures for the 28th Security Forces Squadron (SFS) Overspeed Directional Detection System (ODDS) requirement.

This award will be a base plus four option years. The projected Period of Performance is currently 15 September 2023 - 14 September 2028.

This will be a 100% Small Business set aside solicited under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334290 with a size standard of 800 employees. To be eligible to compete for Small Business set-aside awards, vendors must be certified in accordance with current Small Business Administration (SBA) regulations.

Attached to this Solicitation Notice is the Standard Form 1449 Solicitation, the Attch 1 - Performance Work Statement (PWS) for this requirement and Attch 2 – Wage Determination.

Questions will be answered only via posting of an amendment to this solicitation on www.sam.gov.

All interested and responsible entities are invited to submit a quote that will be considered by the 28th Contracting Office at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. The award will be based on the criteria established in the solicitation.

Vendor quotes and all items required as listed within the Addendum to 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors, are due to be submitted not later than 6 July 2023 by 4:00pm MDT to jason.wright@us.af.mil. Please title all submissions with the following subject line: “Quote FA469023Q0026 – Solicitation - Overspeed Directional Detection System”.

Small Business contractors submitting a quote must have and list within the quote the vendors assigned Cage and be registered and ACTIVE in the System of Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov to receive an award for this procurement.
