Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Advanced Occupational Education for inmates at the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) located in Yankton, South Dakota. The NAICS Code is 611210 (Size Standard: $32.5 million). All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal and State policies and regulations. The contractor will provide services in accordance with the Statement of Work. The contract must be between FPC and a post-secondary institution, vocational training school or industry-based school. Typically, the contractor will provide services Monday through Friday, for 8 hours daily, between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm, excluding Federal holidays; other days/hours may be implemented if necessary to meet program requirements and these days/hours may be adjusted to meet the needs of the institution. Any breaks in service, including lunch breaks, will be unpaid. (Specific dates for the classes will be determined by the Supervisor of Education and the contractor). Estimated annual sessions are approximately 1150 sessions per 12-month period for the program. The sessions are on a requirements basis; therefore, schedule and sessions can change.



A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The solicitation will be made available on or about May 19, 2023 and will be distributed solely through the Sam website at http://www.sam.gov/.
