The 28th Contracting Squadron, Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota, has issued this Solicitation, FA469023Q0005, to compete and award a single award Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract using FAR Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures for the 28th Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) Automated Box Maker requirement.

This award will be a 180 day period of performance.

This will be a 100% Small Business set aside solicited under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 322211 with a size standard of 1,250 employees. To be eligible to compete for Small Business set-aside awards, vendors must be certified in accordance with current Small Business Administration (SBA) regulations.

All questions and comments on this Solicitation must be submitted in writing to lance.white.6@us.af.mil no later than 16 January 2023 by 1:00pm MDT. Please title all emails with questions with the following subject line: “FA469023Q0005 – Solicitation_Automated Box Maker Questions”. Questions will be answered only via posting of an amendment to this solicitation on www.sam.gov .

All interested and responsible entities are invited to submit a quote that will be considered by the 28th Contracting Office at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. The award will be based on the criteria established in the solicitation.

Vendor quotes and all items required as listed within the Addendum to 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors, are due to be submitted not later than 1:00pm on 24 January 2023 to lance.white.6@us.af.mil. Please title all submissions with the following subject line: “Quote_ FA469023Q0005 – Solicitation_Automated Box Maker”.

Small Business contractors submitting a quote must have and list within the quote the vendors assigned Cage Code, and be registered and ACTIVE in the System of Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov in order to receive an award for this procurement.

“Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.”
