This notice shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Responses to this notice will be treated only as information for the Government to consider as part of their market research efforts. The information provided will be used by the Government in developing its acquisition strategy regarding possible set aside for Veteran Owned and other socio-economic categories of small business. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to pay for the information submitted in response to this notice and parties responding will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs incurred in responding to this notice.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 333310, Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing, with an SBA Small Business Size Standard of 1,000 employees.

1. Please identify any of your firm s existing contract vehicles (e.g., GSA federal supply schedules) which provide similar services/supplies as those described in the Statement of Work below.

2. Please provide all social-economic categories of your firm (e.g., SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, Large Business, 8a, etc.) as well as your firm s SAM Unique Entity ID number (replaces DUNS number) and Government Contract POC.

Project: VirTra Simulator -or- Equivalent
GENERAL INFORMATION

Scope of Work: The Department of Veterans Affairs, 113 Comanche Rd, Fort Meade, SD 57741 and 500 N 5th St, Hot Springs, SD 57747 (service to take place within MEADE and FALL RIVER COUNTY) acquiring a virtual training simulator to assist with use of force training for VA Police officers.

2.0 Background: A need exists for new and updated training. The virtual training simulator will assist VA Police with required and relevant force on force training, as well as de-escalation of individuals here at the Black Hills VAMC.

3.0 CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS

Technical Requirements/Tasks: The contractor shall perform installation and training for one system. Includes all travel and expenses in the CONUS. Includes projector, shot tracking equipment, low light kit, scenario authoring software, collapsible screen, laptop computer and a hard case for easy transport. One or more years of warranty and support services to be included.
4.0 Government Furnished: The simulator will be assembled in BLDG 48 Police Services in Fort Meade and will not be accessing any facility networks.

5.0 Deliverables / Schedule: The system shall be delivered and include installation and training for one system, which will include all travel and expenses in the CONUS.

Anticipated hours of work will be Monday through Friday from 6:00 am 5:00 pm. Additional hours must be coordinated through the POC.

6.0 Contractor s Key Personnel: The contractor shall send a technician to train VA Police on the functions of the simulator.
Contractor s Technicians are required to check in with the POC upon arrival at the facility to obtain access and any additional instructions, task explanations and project location information.
