REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS - CITY OF WATERTOWN PARK & REC DEPARTMENT

DERBY DOWNS LEASE AGREEMENT

The City of Watertown is soliciting Proposals for the option to lease the grounds and operation of the Derby Downs Arena area, Clubhouse and associated facilities.

Proposals

Submission Requirements

Proposals will be based on the submission of a completed draft lease in the format provided. Any special considerations should be noted on a separate sheet of paper and included with the draft lease. Proposals should also include a brief description of the entities experience and ability to successfully manage the site.

Schedule

Please submit the completed proposal documents in a sealed envelope to the City of Watertown Parks & Recreation Office or by mail at P.O. Box 910 Watertown, SD. 57201 no later than 5:00 p.m. on July 28th, 2023.

Evaluation

Only complete proposals will be considered and will be evaluated based on price, experience and ability to manage the site.

The review committee will consist of City staff and members of the Park Advisory Board.

The City of Watertown reserves the right to negotiate with the best apparent proposal or to reject any and all proposals.
