One (1) 2025 Brush Truck
City of Watertown, South Dakota

Watertown Fire Rescue requests sealed bids for furnishing one (1) 2025 Brush Truck according to the specifications. All bids must be submitted to the Finance Office, 23 2nd St. NE, PO Box 910 Watertown SD 57201, on or before 10:00 AM CST on March 12th, 2024, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read in the City Council Chambers at City Hall at the above address. Bids must be submitted on the bid form provided in a plain sealed envelope. All bid envelopes must be clearly marked as “Bid for Watertown Fire Brush Truck”.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, a cashier’s check or draft, in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount bid. Such check is to be certified or issued by either a state or national bank, and payable to the City of Watertown, or in lieu thereof, a bid bond for ten (10) percent of the amount of the bid, such bond to be issued by surety authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota, payable to the City of Watertown, as a guaranty that such bidder will enter into a contract. CHECKS NOT CERTIFIED WILL DISQUALIFY THE BID.

Specifications are on file in the office of the City Finance Officer, 23 2nd St NE, Watertown, SD, on the city’s website at www.watertownsd.us , or may be obtained at the office of the Fire Chief Don Rowland, 129 1st Ave NW, Watertown, SD.

The successful bidder will be required to submit a signed voucher together with invoice by the 20th of the month to receive payment on the 10th of the following month.

The City of Watertown reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to waive any irregularities, and to accept the bid that is to the advantage of, and is in the best interest of, the City, and this includes the selection of any of the alternatives.
