General Notice
City of Watertown (Owner) is requesting Proposals for the following Project:
SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY, PROJECT 2035
Proposals will be received at the City Finance Office located at City Hall until Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 3:00p.m. local time.
The purpose of this proposal is to facilitate the sale of surplus property provide proposed purchase price and expected use of the site.
The surplus property is the former Wells Fargo Building, 20 N Maple.
Building Size: 83’x116’- 2 floors (19,000 SF +/-) and the
Lot Size: 165’x300’ (1.13 ac +/-)
Legally described as:
Lot 3, except the East 10 inches, and all of Lots 4 to 14, all in Block 3 of the Original Plat of the Town of Watertown, Codington, County, South Dakota, according to the recorded plat thereof.
The City requests to include an agreement for the retention of City staff parking along the East portion of the property and West side of the current City Hall. Access to the parking will be included in the agreement.

Proposal Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. The designated website will be updated periodically with information relevant to submitting a Proposal for the Project. All official Proposal Documents will be offered only through the designated website.
